Once I figured out how to use the program(not that difficult), I am more than satisfied. Easy, fast, even got my account to balance the first time! Best of all was the price.

I’ve been a Quicken user for 15 years. It’s been OK, but totally lacked any support. Now that Essentials will not be supported with OS X Sierra, I bought Checkbook Pro. I’ve been using it for a week now and admittedly did need some support, as I’m not extremely computer savvy. What a surprise to have every one of my Help! emails answered no later than the next day and usually the same day. After a few lessons, I find the app very intuitive, nice to look at just what I need. I am converted.

Does everything I need it to do and easy to use. Better price point than others too!

Once I moved to iMac, I was looking for an app to balance my checkbook, after reading the reviews I decided to try this one. Very happy with the ease of general use, its very easy to add category etc.

In anticipation of buying a new iMac with a software system that does not use the now defunct Quicken Essentials, I looked around for a new check register for my computer. There were many great reviews about Checkbook Pro, so I got it. I am pleased so far. A short learning curve for the differences in my previous program, but not bad. My only negative would be seeing all the red (negative) numbers, but then again I am spending all that money!

I have really come to appreciate the convenience of Checkbook Pro. It’s auto saving feature, ease of use and overall dependability has made my home accounting and budgeting a breeze! I highly recommend it…and I wasn’t paid to post this!!!

I used Quicken for years to renew was more money than I wanted to spend this app is just what I needed at a great price. It is very easy to use.

I have been using this app for a couple of months, so far, so good. I have had no glitches!!! It is easy to use and does exactly as advertised. If you just want to keep track of your bank activity, this is the best.

This is a fairly easy to use app, for the price. However, if you are used to using Quicken, you will find it is not as convenient. There are dropdown menus as opposed to autofill. The reconciliation function is not as straight forward as Quicken and does not restrict the viewed entries to only those in the month of reconciliation. However, as I said, for the price it is well worth it and should become more intuitive with continued use.

Needed something new to use on a Mac and other programs (see below) have gotten ridiculously expensive so gave this a try. App is pretty clean and works without issues. Don’t expect a ton of functions. This is a check book register only. One minor annoyance is that it skips a field in the deposit and debit screens that allows you to select the type of function performed but this is a minor thing. For the price, as compared to Qu****n, I am happy with it.

I had been using Versa Check on my PC since 2004. Since Versa Check does not have a program for the MAC, I started looking for a simple check register for that. This one was easy to install and I was quickly able to transfer all of my Versa Check data to this one. It took no time at all to get the hang of it either.

Please fix this! I love the app, and use it frequently, but it doesn’t open no since my mac updated on 2/18/16 Will be 5 stars when fixed. Thank you!

I was looking for a nice app for keeping track of my charges/checking account, and this is perfect!!

After years of using Quicken and then being abandoned by them, I made an exhaustive search for a suitable replacement, fearing that I would never find the ease and simplicity of that offering. Thankfully I found Checkbook Pro… a beautiful, complete, easy system that is designed to meet financial tracking needs for us Mac users. While the program is on a par or perhaps even better than Quicken… again, the company which abandoned us Mac users…. The support and assistance and knowledge and care and kindness and wisdom and patience and compassion and responsiveness and creative thinking of the Splasm team is beyond any I have seen with any other software provider. When I run into questions or problems, they are speedy in reply to email inquiries. When I still don’t understand, they stick with me until I am able to grasp their information. When I ran into a serious data file problem, caused possibly by an OS system update, they were extraordinary in helping me… even calling me when they reflected and found another possible solution to my data file problem. I am humbled by the service of this team. You will be blessed to have this great tool and the team behind it helping you.

I bought CheckBook Pro in January 2015 and didn’t read the manual. Really didn’t have to. Over the year, I had no problems and managed to create multiple accounts for credit cards and the like. This is the first time that I used this type of financial software and it proved to be highly satisfactory. The only problem that I did have is that I could not get the starting balance to agree with the ending balance for 2015. When I had questions, Splasm Tech immediately addressed them. Last week a big glitch occurred because of an expired Apple certificate and Splasm explained the problem and the fix in an email when contacting the company. For $20, it is hard to find any fault with this software.
