CheckBook PRO - thy name is FRUSTRATION!

Why oh why do you have to show your balance as being in the red???!!! This approach makes no sense at all! I can see the transaction amount column being either red or green depending on the transaction but to have the balance be red for all transactions except deposits is crazy. Certainly if these guys are good programmers they can easily fix it. When I see my balance being “in the red” I get worried. Having to look for a minature minus sign to show that it is really “in the red” is just too silly to discuss.

How about if you have a positive balance you show green? If you are in the red then show the balance in red. That way you would have a visual warning. It is just too bizarre to get used to this. Too bad there isn’t an option where at least the user can have it the way he/she wants instead of having to live with the color the developer wants.
