Good Program, Priced Right, Downloads banks data.
This is a perfect replacement for numerous money trackers, if you are only interested in tracking your pesonal finances. Like others, I gave up on Intuit products. I used quicken from day one, and later as my business grew, I used it, despite the fact that it became increasingly expensive and complex. Finally I gave up and went to spread sheets because if you made a typo error. It was impossible to correct with quicken. Now it’s only personal finances, and I used the spreadsheet format, but downloading from the banks and investment firms were not intuative.
So I tried Checkbook Pro. Works fine for me. It downloads my bank data with accuracy and is flexable enought I can set it up for the info I need.
Why only four stars? The report end is lacking. I would like to see better financial reports. It’s easy on spreadsheets, so I’m sure the programmers could imporove in that area. (I’ll have to admit that I like the colored graphs and fancy displays, and that is not a necessary requirment — just looks impresive.)
